Montana, Assisted Animal Therapist

Pet therapy. Animal Assisted Therapy

About Montana

We are thrilled to have Montana join us in Animal Assisted Therapy.  She is Red Golden Retriever (2018), and is up to date on all vaccinations. Montana will be working alongside her handler: Ann in some sessions.  Ann has completed the Animal Assisted Therapy training.

Montana hopes to help ease clients anxiety while in session.  This  is beneficial for people if they are new to counselling and are feeling nervous about starting or learning to new strategies.  She loves to be petted and will often bring her favourite blanket to clients to show them.

Montana loves long walks after supper, swimming, chasing birds/squirrels/rabbits and cats, playing catch and hanging out at home with her adopted Dog brother and  her 3 adopted Cats sisters.

Montana will only be assisting part time in sessions and will only be in with clients permissions.
