Supporting children as young 8 years, teens and adults.
Hey there, I’m Emma!
Emma is a Registered Social Worker who works to support individuals navigating anxiety, emotional overwhelm, life transitions, and the lasting impacts of stress and trauma. Emma holds a Bachelor of Social Work and brings a calm, grounded presence to her work.
She believes deeply in the power of safe, collaborative connection. When people feel heard, respected, and supported in their autonomy, meaningful change becomes possible.
With a background in community-based mental health, Emma has supported individuals through moments of crisis, uncertainty, and growth. These experiences have shaped her ability to listen deeply, remain steady during emotionally charged moments, and tailor her approach to each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals.
Emma integrates trauma-informed, body-based approaches, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic practices, and Motivational Interviewing. She is particularly interested in how emotions and lived experiences are held in the nervous system, and how increasing awareness, choice, and self-compassion can support lasting change.
Her work is collaborative and non-directive, with a strong focus on helping clients reconnect with their own inner strengths and motivation.
Emma values creativity, movement, and nature as important components of healing. Outside of the therapy room, she enjoys spending time outdoors whether on a trail, a bike, or horseback, finding these spaces restorative and grounding.
Emma’s guiding belief is that you already carry the capacity for healing within you. She aims to meet clients exactly where they are and support them in building insight, resilience, and a deeper sense of self-trust.

Clover is working alongside Emma starting May 1st, 2026!
Clover
Clover is a Cockapoo with a gentle spirit, a curious nature, and a growing love for people.
Clover's role is to bring a natural warmth to sessions, offering quiet companionship, soft moments of connection, and sometimes a well-timed distraction when things feel a little heavy. For many children (and adults!), having a dog nearby can help ease anxiety, build a sense of safety, and make it easier to open up.
Research shows that the presence of a therapy dog can support emotional regulation, reduce stress, and encourage connection, all of which can enhance the therapeutic experience in a gentle and meaningful way.
Clover is still in training, but she’s already showing a special ability to connect, comfort, and bring a little extra light into the room.
Clover has up to date vaccinations, has started her Basic Obedience Training. Emma has completed training on Animal Assisted Therapy and has additional liability insurance.
