Our Services
Supervision & Consultation
Professional support for therapists, counsellors, and students — whether you're building your practice, working through a complex case, or completing your supervised hours.
Growing as a Clinician Takes Support Too
At Counselling and Play Therapy Services, we believe that the quality of care a therapist provides is directly connected to the quality of support they receive. Supervision and consultation are not just requirements — they are an investment in your growth, your clients, and your practice.
Ann Tichelaar Swerdfeger offers individual and group clinical supervision for Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying), social work students, and counselling psychology students completing their practicum or internship hours.
Consultation is also available for therapists who are already registered and want a collaborative space to think through complex cases, explore new modalities, or receive peer support from an experienced clinician.
Who Is This For?

Registered Therapists Seeking Consultation

Play Therapy Practitioners
Therapists wanting to deepen their play therapy skills and receive guidance from a Certified Play Therapist.
What Supervision Looks Like
Sessions are offered individually or in small groups, in-person or virtually. The focus is on your clinical development — reviewing cases, exploring your therapeutic approach, identifying areas for growth, and ensuring ethical, client-centred practice.
Ann brings over 25 years of experience working with children, teens, adults, and families, and draws on a wide range of modalities including Play Therapy, EMDR, Sand Tray, Narrative, and Attachment-based approaches.
Supervision documentation is provided to support your registration or practicum requirements. Reach out to discuss your specific needs and to confirm whether Ann is an approved supervisor for your regulatory body.
